Aww this piece really made me sad upon reading it. Especially because I too am a HP fan and I already know the story of what happened to Tonks at the end of the book. But I loved how you opened it with her staring into the mirror and still being in awe of the way she can change her appearance - it's completely in character with her being amused at the smallestof things and slightly naive at the same time.
The descriptions were awesome - each time she gazed into the mirror, she saw a new scene in her life up until her death, and her reactions to it were very well written. The way you described the scene it was like they were all coming in quick flashes, like a blow to the stomach, and it was effective written in that way.
The end where she collapses onto the floor, crying, while her mother tries to comfort her was especially sad because at this point she knows what's going to happen to her and there's that sense of foreboding of what is yet to come.
Never watched or read Harry Potter either, but this was terrifyingly awesome to read. Descriptions were epic and it gave me chills. There's really not much I can say about this because I'm still getting chills from how it made me feel :)
