What is the point of her being a shapeshifter if she has to be protected? The reason she needs to be protected wasn't clear to me. Does it have something to do with her being bit before changing?

I'm going to keep reading. I like your story I just hate the idea of her waiting at home for the guys to take care of the vampire when she is a shapeshifter TOO.

I spent the weekend reading this story.
It's very nice and I am enjoying it so keep writing!

Lyric is an interesting character with a sad story.
