Personally, I want it to have a negative ending.
1) It's more interesting to me
2) Every fan-fiction has a positive ending now days
and
3) A negative ending sets up the sqeuel better than a positive one would

Which bring me to my next point: I would love if you wrote a sqeuel to this.

Any way i think it should end with a negative ending so that the sequel will let them become positive again. As for what happens, that is all up to you.
