I didn't know that much about him when he died...because I had only known about them for about 3 months. I knew who he was and all but I didn't know much about him. So I didn't cry at first, but I remember watching the tribute video and it upsetting me, even though I was amazed just by watching the guy. So after a little while of it sinking in and when I realized that he was gone and it was true, I remember getting really upset and getting sick and crying all night,'m still not over his death.

I was in denial when I first found out because just like you I fell into an obsession of theirs once I finally took the time to actually listen to their music. I have three of their albums, I plan on buying some shirts and other paraphernalia from their online store. I was also planning on going to a concert of theirs because I figured that it would be fun and most of all different. He will always be in my heart even if I never did get a chance to meet him. I hope to one day meet the others though through writing if possible. It all depends.

i had gotten in to them because the guy i liked/best friend liked them, his world revolved around them back in '05/'06. i used to joke around with him saying my favorite band (fall out boy) was better then his favorite band (A7X) and that's where it started, i used to borrow his mp3 player and heard A7X on it, and i've listened to them ever since.
i went to summer school in '06 and a friend who was there gave me a burned copy of City Of Evil that i still have, and i fell in love with that album. after that i payed attention to them a bunch more, i missed seeing them twice and have been looking forward to seeing them ever since.
this passed summer i finally got a computer and was able to look them up even more and get some of their music. i was getting super hyped up for this next album. and then the rev passed away.
finding out was hard, i gave my self a fever that night, i cried for five hours straight. my face and stomach hurt for the two days.it was hell. and reading what matt wrote made it so bad, i still have trouble watching their vids.

A friend of mine texted me and told me... same thing. I began to hyperventilate... I rushed to my computer and frantically searched everything. I still wouldn't believe it. Until I went on their site and there it was, in plain sight. I cried. I still cry when I think about it.
I started listening to them back in... 2006? 2005? I saw them on Warped Tour right after my friend introduced me to them and I've been hooked ever since. <3

It's so hard to accept. I took a shot of Jack D's for him that first weekend.
Matt said that Jimmy was sure of only two things in life- he wanted to be a rockstar... and he wasn't going to live to see 30. Who would have thought that he was right. =/

    Rest easy, James.
