Not only is the concept interesting but the way it's portrayed is captivating.
It makes the line between childlike and mature rather thin.

Wow, this absolutely amazing! The imagery is spectacular. This is probably my favorite line: "Her hair catches first, it ignites the back of her dress, and the tulle catches like paper. She is the vision of a deity sheathed in flame. She is Hestia incarnate. She is, in a word, beautiful." Very vivd and rich in detail!
I really do feel bad for her that her parents don't pay much attention to her. That must hurt. Her curiosity with fire was described wonderfully. Overall, a great story and a joy to read :) I'm glad I picked this one!
