Face the Dark - Comments

Wow, this was amazing. It was vague, but in the good way to where it doesn't need description. A terrifying nightmare that seems so real it rattles the person's soul. I have nightmares like that sometimes, that they seem so real I feel the pain I felt in the nightmare. I thought this was great, creepy, and entirely thrilling. An expert read, no wonder you won the contest! Good job!!!

i liked it very much :) the description was wonderful. there was JUST enough suspense, any more and i'd be bored. and less and i wouldn't know what's going on.

I thought this was a very well written story! The way you described the concept of dreams was really awesome! I'm sure it must have been scary to go up in front of the man and answer his question, but probably the scariest thing was hearing the other girl say no and hearing the gun go off. A very powerful ending!

I can't describe it at all.

This line did kind of threw me off though: "The sound of the gun go off remains with me to this day."
Did you mean: "The sound of the gun going off remains with me to this day" ?
