Is it somewhat sad that during their breakup I only cried when Kris was upset, 'cause I thought that Shane was acting like a complete and utter idiot. Seriously, if she claims to love him than a) she would listen to him and get proof that he cheated and b) isn't love supposed to be unconditional, to place the condition of cheating ending it would take away the whole idea of love.

I'm on chapter 37 and I just wanted to let you know I'm enjoying the story heaps! Though I currently want to punch Shane in the head stuff her in my trunk and leave her in front of Kris's door as a ding-dong ditch so they'll work things out. Can't wait to read the rest!

I dont know where to begin.
Lets go from the beggining.

When I first started reading this story, I thought it was going to be a typical hockey player fanfic. People forget to write in the emotions and its always how quickly they get together, there's never that slow agonizing wait until they realize they want to be together and I will admit I assumed that this story would be no different, but something kept me reading, I wanted to see if this would be like every other hockey fic.

As I continued reading I began to think it'd be a quick cliche story where after convincing from a friend she goes after the boy, but again I learned that this was definitley the type of fic I could enjoy. Shane didnt fall in love with him right away, you tortured us, making us think that at any minute they'd quit the games and actually admit there feelings for each other.

When they did, on her birthday I do believe, I really began to realize how in love I was with this story. I assumed there'd be petty hockey-boyfriend drama, but yet you kept their love very simple and innocent, I fell in love with the character of Kris that you made him out to be, the childish side would make me laugh every chapter, where Shane's more serious attidude would seem to wash away and she could be a kid with Kristopher, which I loved, it really captivated me.

As soon as the drama of the tally began I am sorry to say I was again quick to think this would just be stupid and silly, they come to their senses in a day--almost like a conflict trying to pass the chapters before you ended it, but I was pleasantly surprised with they way the drama seemed to set a new plot line in place, keeping the readers (especially me) on their toes trying to guess if this was the moment when the two of them would come to their senses. You killed me dragging this out, killed me (in a good way.) In a normal story after awhile I usually find myself bored of the conflict, but you wrote this in so beautifully and poetically that I couldnt stop myself from reading.

Of course you gave us crazy twists that left us in tears, like her brother's death, and character's that we wanted to brutally murder (lexa...), or those characters that seem to fix everything (flower, Kris's mum,) and this just added to the depth and emotion of the story.

The ending.

I actually wasnt sure if you'd end this on a happy note, I wouldn't have been surprised if the ending had been morbid and they didn't get together, but deep down I was hoping you'd end it happily. The ending you wrote is something so beautiful, magical, and romantic I cant even begin to fathom it. Sure over the days I gave you many suggestions, but the way you ended it--fuck I'm so glad you waited that long, it made it so worth while.

I am so sad this story is done, but I do respect the fact that you don't want to write a sequel, the way it ended there's almost no need to do so because you tied up all the lose ends, and I'm sure it would be tough to write a following story to this, not wanting to bring any of the cliche drama or have it go along the same plot line with a breakup/what not.

I actually have to say--this is my FAVOURITE story on mibba. The way its written, everything about it--I mean something in that first chapter, and the chapters tha followed kept me reading despite my doubts and I soon felt like I was watching a beautiful story unfold. I mean even outside of Mibba, this story is so well written, it could easily be one of the greatest love stories I've read.

I am so sad to see this end, but the fact that you just--ah, I cant even describe it. Kinda welling up at the fact its over. I guess to stop my rambling--I love this story. Not putting it in past tense, I LOVE it, and I will always love it. Fan fics about Tangers to follow have some tough compettition because this story can't be beat.

I swear to god if Kris and Shane arent back together in the next chapter..
ugh.
If they arent im forcing you to write a sequel where they get back together and its mushy gushy romance 24/7 like it should be!!!!!!!!

I loved this chapter...except Lexa being in it obvs.
