    I think its ok to once in a while ask for some comments if you aren't getting any and you have like 50 subscribers, comments tend to motivate you to want to write more.

    I appreciate it when authors don't ask for a certain amount of comments
    Auditing for comments is cool
    But when specific numbers are brought into the game
    They tend to get disappointed when they don't receive that number
