Oh, what a sad ending! I was hoping for a happy ending (Although I can hope as we don't know what the phone call was about!) I like how you took a main event in a soldiers life, receiving letters from home, and made it your own. I felt that the dialogue was very natural and the messing around trying to read the letter was something I'd expect. I found myself tearing up at this piece. Great job. One of my favourites on here.
