I know it does sound a lot like Hunger Games, but I already had the idea before Hunger Games came out. (I had it posted on Quizilla before I came to Mibba.)
I got the idea for this story by the novel Battle Royale by Koushun Takami and the manga Bus Gamer by Kazuya Minekura.
