I sort of began to hyperventilate when I read this. I can’t even begin to describe how fabulously amazing and wonderful it was. It hit so close to home and made me think of everything that I myself and so many others have wondered over. I love how you wrote it with the first person point of view, talking about the girl. I can’t even…gah. I can’t even begin to describe how much I enjoyed this, even if I particularly don’t like questions it has brought to the surface once more. I adored your details and the emotion behind it, and I am utterly stunned.
This is really good. I think it grapples with the classic question, "If there is a God who loves us, then why do bad things happen?"
To which, the answer is, of course, 'God gave us free-will.'
You've taken a widely known concept and turned it into a short, eloquent one-shot. It was easy to read and very well written, and there were only a couple grammar mistakes, but it was easy to over look them because it was simply that good.
