Thank you for pointing this fic out to me. I was trying so hard not to cry...I really, really felt for Matt. I only have two gripes. One, the fact that I personally would've preferred it without the lyrics, it sort of broke up the flow for me.

Two, there weren't any clear cut breaks between the 'scenes'. Otherwise, beautifully written, and I could so imagine Jimmy doing that to Matt so he could say goodbye :).

Thank you for the amazing read, and a wonderful tribute to Jimmy.

You made me cry, ms, and that is not an easy feat. I don't cry over just anything, but the anguish and pain that you described had me bawling. Honestly, this was so, so beautiful.
My favourite part was when Matt had passed out and Jimmy met him in his state of mind. I was really crying then because it was just too sad. I loved it because it wasn't predictable. Jimmy was still his joking self, but he was also sincere. It was lovely to get that side of him. Such a beautiful piece.

The fact that you made me cry, makes me a tad mad, since I promised I wouldn't cry anymore after I heard the news and cried for a long while.
But, I'm happy 'cause it made me smile so many times at the end.
Smiling and crying, long time since I've mixed those two together.
The rain reminded me of how it started to rain here, after months without it raining, it just started raining when I was crying my eyes out, listening to their self-titled album on repeat.
That random rain made me smile the entire day.

This was really nice and I'm sure Jimmy is actually having quite a blast wherever he is. Passed the pissed of mood he must have gotten when he realized he passed away of course.
