Opposites Attract - Well Maybe Not This Time - Comments

This is my favorite part, juuust to let you know (:
Jack stared up at the beautiful girl above him and couldn’t help but smile despite how bad his head hurt.

“I love you,” Jack mumbled before he could stop himself. Mallory raised an eye brow about to make a joke, until she noticed the serious look on Jack’s face. She sat back on her legs suddenly and Jack sat up quickly, but gripped his forehead in pain.

They once again found themselves in a staring contest. Jack could feel his heart pounding inside his chest. He couldn’t believe he had said it, but at the same time a huge weight was lifted off his shoulders.

Mallory on the other hand, was in shock. She couldn’t believe those words had just come out of his mouth. Lisa’s question had been plaguing her mind for the last two weeks, and Mallory wasn’t expecting to actually have to answer the question.

“Mallory, listen I – “Jack started after the room had been silent for several minutes. The vulnerable look on Jack’s face and the hurt that flashed through Jack’s eyes jump started something inside of Mallory. She suddenly was extremely aware of her answer.

“I love you, too.” Mallory mumbled back. She truly did, and she wasn’t sure why she didn’t realize this sooner. It had taken many years, countless screw ups on Jack’s part and not speaking to each other for more than a week for Mallory to realize that she was in love with Jack.

Awh, so cute!
Seriously, one of my favorite Jack stories ever!

And I totally get you about the procrastination; we've known about a big economics project for about 2 and a half months; I did the majority of it 30 minutes before class today and still didn't get finished ;]
Haha. ANYWAY!

Pretty bittersweet that it's ending. But cute nonetheless!

It's so hard for me to comment on this.
I keep writing it, then deleting it, then writing it...
But anyway, I really love this as I've said all along and I'm really sad it's finished, though I'm glad they admitted their feelings for each other. I love a good happy ending <3
You should be proud of this, it's pretty damn awesome :)
Also, I agree with the above commenters, a sequel would be be great!

It kinda like drags the situation out, but makes it more suspenseful.
