That was such a gorgeous story. I wish I could write a comment that would do it justice; whatever I should say is probably echoed in all the other comments. Beautifully-written, powerful, etc.

I wish I could have read this when I was a kid. :)

That was amazing. It brought my childhood rushing back; I remember this book of fairytales I had and the original of this was my favorite <3

Snow Rose was such a compelling character and her emotions felt very real. I loved that she had flaws and strengths and that there was background history on her. It almost makes you feel as if you’re along for the journey with her. I adore that she makes mistakes such as challenging her suitors to races and duels but in the end she really does know what she’s doing. I think you wrote her perfectly.

The ending was very powerful and it had me smiling. Just the simple sentence “I am innocent” brought a lot to the story and when a realized it was ending I really wanted more.

I honestly have no critique and I really hope you continue adding more stories to this soon.

Wow! I just finished A Well of Dreams and let's just say I am completely blown away. That was incredible! You are seriously an extremely talented writer and I was hooked from start to finish! I was cheering on Snow Rose and crying with Snow Rose. Well done and I can't wait for more!

I love this so so much! I haven't read something this good in a long long time. The layout is beautiful and the writing is amazing! I've been told by many people before that you were their favorite author, but this is my first time reading your work. I have to say that I was not disappointed in the least. You have a gift for words.

Aww, I liked it. :D It was lovely how you wrote your own take on the fairy tale, and everything just flowed together really nicely. Everything was very articulate and true to itself and pretty and vivid, and your love of fairy tales really shows.

(PS. Forgive me if Mibba changed the policy, but I think I read once that they'll delete your account if you post multiple one-shots under one story? Idk. It would just be really bad if they did.)

This was fucking fantastic, beautiful, breathtaking, and.. jeez.
You'd expect to see this in an ancient book of fairy tales, or somewhere equally as fabulous.

Because this is amazing. And I'd totally buy this book if there was one!

I like it! :D I love her love for her brothers. It made me miss my own. And I got so freakishly happy when Snow was able to say “I am innocent.” And it was funny for me when Brigitta was “thrown” into the fire because I imagined it literally

Oh my god, this was so beautiful. I loved this so much.

The way you described her emotions and everything was just amazing. I admire that she refused to speak even if it meant dying and that she kept going on and that she loved her brother's so much. The last paragraph kind of gave me chills. This was just so amazing.

This is really beautiful. I read it a couple of days ago, but I'm just now getting around to writing the actual comment...

Something I want to touch on is the fact that her brothers turn into swans. I think that's absolutely beautiful. I realize they are turned into swans in the original version, but I still think it's beautiful nonetheless. When I was younger, I never fathomed the idea of becoming a bird, someone asked me why and I told them that it saddened me ⎯ why would I be allowed to fly so high into the sky that it is like a personal heaven, but I would never truly be able to enter this supposed euphoric world that is higher than the birds?

Also, I just want to say that I prefer your version of the story so much more than Mister Andersen's. His version is lovely and something I will never forget, but your version is something I will never, ever forget. It's so aesthetically beautiful and allows the reader to visualize everything in a serene and euphoric (lol there's that word again, go away) idealistic point of view ⎯ which is great!

All in all, what a lovely piece of work you've written! :)

Gosh, your writing blows me away, I can't wait until I can buy a book that you wrote one day and be like, I read her work when she first posted it online.
    Wow, that was intenseeee. :)

    Oh my god.
    This was so effing BRILLIANT.

I don't care about how long it was; I barely even paid any attention to it until I was at the end. Wow, this was so amazing. I loved every word of it. To tell you the truth, I didn't even know about the Wild Swans until you said you were going to write about it. So I looked it up on wikipedia.
BRILLIANT, I tell you. No joke.
