    It's cute, but I'd recommend not just putting in random German words in the middle of sentences. It just kind of gets distracting. While it's okay to put the language in, I think it would be more effective to use entire phrases. But that's just me, you're the one writing the story. I really like it though. Not many stories out there have Tom as the one who's hiding his feelings. Keep writing!
