I’m here as the new host for ‘The Band Dude Contest’.

Ahh, this was a really sweet and cute story. I have a lowkey soft spot for the ‘best friends to lovers’ thing because if it’s done right, it’s so adorable and the romantic in me is pleased. This definitely did not disappoint. There was a lot of chemistry between Derek and Holly right off the jump, which made the transition from friends to ~romantic~ really realistic and believable. I also love how Alex was teasing her about it and that’s the reason she literally realized she was in love with Derek. Like the fact that he called her out is why she was like WELP THIS IS SOMETHING, I’M IN LOVE WITH MY BEST FRIEND OOPS. And Derek is a total sweetheart. I was vibing on that love, like he didn’t even have to say the feeling was mutual because Derek, my friend, we all knew.

Also, I really appreciated the simplicity of your writing because you focused more on the characters than on making it poetic and whatnot. But you also gave plenty of detail and depth.

So overall, this was a really cute and well-written story! Very enjoyable.

I loved it, especially the icecream/movie scene and the dream parts. They were adorable.

I just had to start by saying I semi-forced my friend to read this too, and she adored it.

First off, I love how through each of the chapters we got to see more about their relationship. I thought it was good how you built it up rather than fitting it all into one chapter. It all flowed perfectly and I seriously loved this. The ending was so cute, and the dream part was just made me go aww <3. Pure awesomeness.
