Braden and what's-her-name (Sunny Side Up or whatever)and Dallas( well, I remembered it because it's a kinda cool name:D)and Jeremy and..and...oh, I just realized that I forgot the main character's name( one of the main characters:)) are cool kids:D
I like the title of your story, Emmie:D. I used to play this game and( of course) I was the badass robber that would always get tied to a light post or something with improvised cuffs( which meant some kid would hold my hands with his own and/or tie me with a rope he'd just found behind the block). And (of course) I would be the lame excuse for a cop that would catch 0 out of 1/more kid/kids.
Yeah...I said it! You will be famous soon(this is where my evil laugh starts off, but my throat is kinda sore, so...yeah...I'm gonna skip that part)

and I already love it dearly.
Your voice in just incredible.
The plot line and characters are so stunningly real.
I love how realistic Braden's thought process is.
He is so beautifully wounded and the narrative is fantastic.

Okay so....
I'm really late on reading this, but I just read all eight chapters and I find this to be very intriguing.
I'm thinking Jeremy is my favorite character even though he has no official point of view, and Braden is just... he's adorable to me. And Hope... she comes off as kind of bitchy, but I think she's just misunderstood and slightly pissed off at life.

Either way you have great characters, and a well developed story thus far.
