I love your descriptions, but I like it most that you stated in the beginning that he had to last five minutes and it was about a five mintue read. It fit the time provided, and that's something I've only seen done one other time.

The sound filled the area, and his skin vibrated with it, tingling in fear.
When that line appears in the story, it isn't fully revealed what the story's plot will be, and that gives a lot of insight to it. It's prepared to scare you and this line is a warning to anyone who dares read past it.

Anyway, this was beautifully written and I really liked it. You did a great job with the imagery and descriptions, I could practically feel bugs crawling over me when you described that scene.
