I read this before I commented on the journal, so don't think I skimmed. XD
The only thing I didn't like was how he seemed to be in love with her all of a sudden. Stories where the "omg everyone likez him but he chose ME*~" thing happens turn me off, but it was vague, so I kind of liked it a bit. It made me wonder for Nikolai's feelings about Estelle before he met with her, if he had been secretly pining after her or what. What his story was. So congrats on that. :)
I'm not sure if he tricked her or if she turned into a vampire at the end, and as much as that's bugging me, it's still making me like the story. I like anticlimaxes or "think of the end yourself" stories because even though they frustrate the hell out of me, it makes me realize that they were good enough for me to want to know the ending...if you understand what I'm saying. If it was a bad story I wouldn't care about knowing how it ended. So congrats on that also.
The writing was very nice and so was the imagery/description. I really liked it. :)
The way that you described the scenery was very thoroughly and detailed. But in a good way. I had a picture in my mind that matched the picture in the layout very accurately. I think that was my favorite part: the details you put into each paragraph.
Like savannah kay; said above, I'm not too crazy about these kind of plots. You made it work enough for me to read it and leave you a comment, don't get me wrong. But just the idea that he could have anyone, but instead, he loves her just doesn't make me go crazy for the story, you know?
But other than that, there was nothing that I didn't like about it. Your writing is stellar and your detail is amazing. :3
I quite enjoyed it.
