Again, your details astound me, Chan. This was beautiful, and the ending was heartbreaking.
I could feel everything Akane was feeling, especially towards the end.

Now, she was a fugitive, a woman with no loyalty whatsoever. Her dignity had been ripped out of her, replaced with an endless void of guilt and shame.
I loved the detail in this. It stood out to me. :3
