I love this story! To be honest it is one of the best stories I have read on mibba, by the looks of it, it seems like you have lost your motivation. But, it would make my entire life if you would update it one day! BUUTTT UNTIL THEN....UPDDAATTTEEEE! (:

Thank you! That was a very good answer. I was going to spew out some info now, but I'll contain myself, info is after all what the chapters are for, I guess.
I think Capser knows, and likes it.

It didn't suck! And I don't think Garret was being a dick. He cares about her, and he can see that she is incredibly stressed and unhappy. If I saw someone I loved suffering like this over a job, I'd be telling them to quit, too. And really, the whole "how do I look?" conversation was just a trap, anyway. There was no good answer. If he says she looks good, then he must have thought she was ugly. If he says she looks bad, then he must think she's being a sell-out. No wins for poor Garret.
And I agree with her. I'm pretty sure Casper already knows he's a dick.

Loved the update!!! Hmmm. I can't say whether or not Garret is a dic, seeing as we've only just been introduced to him. It will all have to depend on his future actions and whether or not he is as accepting (although currently disgruntled) of her choice in job as it seems. :) Can't wait for the next one! :)

Garret does seem like a bit of a dick, but I think he has reason to be.. I love Jackie, she's great :)

Hahaha, well two years does that! I'm very glad you did, hoping to finish it this time around! I'm a little late on this chapter, and the days to come will be all about catching up with the work I was supposed to do over the holiday, but I'll try to update asap :)

Okay. So I don't ever remember reading this, seeing as I haven't been on Mibba in two years, but I found this in my subscriptions and decided to refresh my memory. I still love it, as I said in my first comment, and I can't wait to read the rest that you come up with. :)

So, it's been two years, and finally I've picked this up again. I hope you still want to read it, TWO YEARS LATER, you were always my favorite :) muffin cake

So, major concrit here. I'm a bit pernickety and stuff and I might be a tad over-critical, so just yell at me if this is really mean.

I like the way you start it, with a casual description of the room. It is quite positive and homely and comfortable, and for a moment you almost feel hopeful like maybe this isn't going to be so bad, but then Casper Welhaven spoke.

Attractive, eh? He's definitely a creep. Maybe not an old-ass one, but he's going to be an insensitive jackass, I can just tell. If the previous chapter was anything to go by. Plus, the way he talks you can just tell he thinks a lot of himself.

Aw. You had to give her an embarrassing name, didn't you? Poor girl. I like the dialogue between them. It's so awkward it's cute. He's all, yeah, I know who you are and I know I have power over you. And she's all, ohmigod this is so scary why am I here just get me out of here PLEASE. I like her. I said that before, but I do.

How does he know so much about her? Jesus, I'd be scared of him if he knew all that. (Though hi-five for the Doctor Who. Lost can GTFO, but Doctor Who gets a million thumbs up.)

I laughed when he prodded her in the nose. It was so unexpected, yet so something he'd do. But I wanted to smack him when he said she was the least attractive. Though I can understand his reasoning. Kinda.

Nevertheless, I predict that he'll see through her so-called ugliness (I'm sure she's gorgeous but whatever) and fall for her because she's a genuine, lovely person (which I just know she is) and he'll try it on with her and she'll be like NO I HAVE A BOYFRIEND YOU CREEP GTFO. And then he'll be all sad and fire her and then she'll be all FINE. I DON'T EVEN CARE YOU SELF-RIGHTEOUS POMPOUS TWAT. And then she kisses him because despite the fact that he's a complete prat, she's fallen for him too.

Aw. Sweet. But yeah.

I'm seeing a slightly... nicer side to him. Kinda. Like in his comments, it's almost like he's not being snide, he's just being honest. So maybe he's not a complete twat. I'm hoping he redeems himself a little. Just a little.

I haven't said anything constructive. At all. Hmm. I suck at this.
I can't think of anything to say really. You know I love your writing, and it's really interesting and engaging and the descriptions are nice and the dialogue is really clever and it's just amazing.

So far I love this story. It reminds me a lot of The Devil Wears Prada except w/an asshole male boss. Love it. I can't wait to see where this goes. I will definately be looking forward to updates. And this is also very well written ;) :D :P :) :D :P :) :D :P
