Another fantastic chapter, I love that his mom shows up and there's that tension there. I really want to know what happened with the rest of the day though.
(And I'm loving the city! Or at least what I've seen of it, which isn't that much... I'll let you know how I feel about it when the tempurature drops though. =p)

I'm happy that you liked your chapter! Thought I was going to do a shitty job on it and then I forget that I'm somehow amazing at guy characterizing. Very pretty, but I still don't understand why she was confused. Read it over again four times, still don't get it. But I'm terrible at getting the point, even though I try hard for people to understand mine :D

Never thought about using Kool-Aid for hair dye. It sounds like an interesting enough idea. Good: it stays in for a while. Bad: your hair is the color of Kool-Aid.

I like the concept of counting the the seconds in the gaps of conversation. He would do something like that.

(Also I have no experience of dying hair with Kool-Aid, I always buy hair dye. But I know people that have and it does stay in for a good while. I recommend maybe bleaching your hair first? And for further info, Google it. =D)
