This is so good, and scary. If you haven't already, maybe try reading a few ED books and films- For the Love of Nancy, Wintergirls, and there's a gymnastics movie I can't think of now that I liked.

I really enjoy the opening simile/metaphor. I can relate to the subject and definitely had a few heartstrings pulled. Good job. =]

I like how the story progresses. It's very realistic. I enjoy this type of literature very much and it really bothers me how so few people take the time to make sure the way their characters progress in their habits is either far to fast or slow. You've formed this very well and accurately.
By the way does this have any personal meaning for you? It's so real and raw I have to ask.
