I love it, I love that it's not your cookie-cutter one-shot. It portrays a different type of love, or perhaps a different side of romantic love. A side that is more about caring and wanting to protect than romance.

I also like the parallel episodes of when Maggie uses cocaine and how it shows Alexei and Maggie's relationship. Like the first time she tried it, she just called him and he knew something was wrong but couldn't place it, their relationship was more friendly and platonic. The second time, he caught her, but he stayed with her all night, which is marginally more romantic. The third instance, Alexei finds her passed out and calls the ambulence, which is something out of concern and fear that he could lose the one he loves. The last time, when Alexei takes her to rehab, is really that pinnacle moment of their relationship, where he gives up, not on their love, but on saving her. But the last episode also shows his fears in the previous instance being recognized, but instead of freaking out, he realizes what he has to do.

I don't know... Maybe I'm reading too much into it... XD
