When I first saw the banner, I literally went "Ooh" out loud xD and the background is pretty ace, too.

Awh, I really liked it. Like the above commenter said, your sentences are complicated which is really nice. They've got a lot of words that flow very nicely together. And I'm adoring it. I don't know who these people are but I can tell they've got a really nice relationship going. It's short and sweet and romantic and I'm really liking it <3

~I'm judging this for this contest~

Firstly: the rules. A link to my contest wasn't there, although, it wasn't necessary. The homemade layout was lovely, neat and easy on the eyes. The love I have of the main character is trying to eat through me into my words! Grammar-wise, you were tip-top, except from the odd grammatically error or typo, such as:
"Despite the constant quivering ah his left hand".

The writing was superb. Your sentences tend to be very complicated, which is a sign of good writing, as long as you remember to mix them with the occasional short ones. If you don't, it may overwhelm the reader. You did very well in this, aside from when you described the Italian backdrop. It was a lot of description packed into quite long, loaded sentences.

The description was incredible. Out of all the brilliant sentences, I've chosen a favorite:
"An idyllic city, where excitable vines and buds intertwined around the spherical stone basins, in which bloomed many ruby roses, creating a fragrant aroma".
Just read it. Idyllic. Excitable vines. Many ruby roses.
That was my favorite line: 'many ruby roses". Those little lines that paint such vivid, colorful pictures in your head - that was one of them.

I think ah should be of. – Also I like this sentence as well. It flows nicely and has a sense of serenity about it.
