Like, I love this. You have no idea. Maybe it's the dark side in me, but I love tragedies, and this is well written. I don't know why I wasn't expecting the ending, but I wasn't, and because of that it works really well. That, and there's more emphasis on the character of Ian than of his death (placing emphasis on the death is a mistake so many people make that ruins their story). You're really good at this kinda stuff, Ivy. I don't know if I would encourage you to write longer things (as a poet, when I try to write romance stories they have to be this short, or else I'd ramble), but I definitely am encouraging you to write your heart out. You have so much more talent than so many people I know. Use it. Stay brilliant.
