This was very interesting, I liked how there's so much that the reader is left to wonder about. I always love it in a story when I feel the need to figure out why something happened, and this was one of those stories. I felt that description was lacking, but the dialog was well-written. It's sad that Sky and her mother's last conversation went as it did, but I think that it showed a lot of the emotions that her mother was feeling. There were few words, but I could sense exhaustion and despair, so good job on that. At the end I was a bit confused as to if the letter was the piece of paper from her mother that she threw away.
