Sorry I took a while to read and comment this.
This chapter was quite exciting, it makes it feel as if somethings starting to happen, like a vital ingrediant was added to Ruby witch potion, and thats always a good thing. I can't wait to see what happens and I hope Josh doesn't change his feelings about her any time soon at all. Can't wait for the next chapter, keep it up!

I like how your writing makes everything flows nice and smoothly and I love how it's a story where Josh doesn't like her, that excites me. I really like how you've given Josh another love interest, it does make it all a lot more exciting.
However, if I was to give any constructive critisms, it would to mabye add more description to facial expressions and things like that. Also it would make it a lot better to make Josh's hatred more apparent, you seem to hold back a bit with that in fright of making him look bad, whereas in fact, it would bring more reality into the story, so don't be afraid of being mean or anything.
Anyway, I really like this story so far, keep it up and don't slack! :)
