Listen to My Heart - Comments

I know it's frustrating when people don't comment, it's the same for my own stories... but then my best friend reminds me that most of why I write is because I love writing and I love hockey (so I write for me first, then for my readers) and that helps. Promise I'll try to comment more though!
As for the lesser known guys: it does make you unique and you still managed to set up a pretty big following even for those "unknown" guys, which I find pretty cool! I love this diversity, so please keep it up :)
Aaaand as for papers and what not: I wish you good luck, good coffee/poison of your choice and good thinkings :) keeping my fingers crossed for you!

P.S.: don't worry about the "you probably won't like what's going to happen now" stuff... for me that's the most fun part of writing a story ;) and as for changing... I just finished a story that I started 2 years ago that went through so many changes and transitions that I don't even remember where I started out, it's NOwhere near what it started out as! Change is good and if it keeps you motivated, even better!

Just thought I'd drop a comment and let you know how much I missed this story and that I'm still reading :)

What I didn't expect though, was to see Tony sitting on the bed with a blonde girl who's boobs were about to pop out of her shirt. - - No - no fucking way. He better not even...

"Brianna, we were just-" His hand reached out for me, his fingers trying to grasp my arm to pull me into him, but I stepped back to put space between us. - - can't think of much he can say that makes it ok - how about planning a surprise party for one of his teammates - that would be ok right?

No, I wouldn't because I trust you." His eyebrows pulled into a frustrated line.
"That is such bullshit. - - total bullshit

"You know what? This is just so great to know. I'm so glad my girlfriend thinks that lowly of me, that whenever I have an opportunity to cheat on her- I'll snatch it up. That's great. Makes me feel like a classy guy." - - OK so he has a point - even if they were in the room talking - that's what makes relationships start. I'd be mad too bri. no doubt about it.

"Do what you want."
"Ton, I'm sorry. I was wrong." My voice was so soft as I spoke that I wasn't really sure he heard me, but the shake of his head told me he did.
"Whatever." - - ok tony - don't be such a baby. she made a mistake, one that any girlfriend would make. Cut her some slack. OK? THanks.

"Brianna, I love you more than I even know how to express to you, and honestly, sometimes it scares the crap out of me because of how strong my feelings are for you. I would be an absolute fool to be cheating on you. Yeah, I cheated on other girlfriends, but none of them meant this much to me." - - That's better. I forgive him now.

"I've always been yours, Brianna. Even when I was with someone else, I was always yours." -- GUSH!!!! SO much better. That a boy Tony. :D Now take care of your sick girlfriend.

I just love them together. So sweet - even when they are stupid, and we're all stupid sometimes, they're still so in love. You write the best love stories.

I agree, I don't blame her for thinking that, I wish Tony would have seen where she was coming from a little better.
As for what I'd like to see happen? Jealousy? Adoration? Dramatic brushes with death? Bring on the romance! :)

Despite everything that happened, and all the drama in this chapter, as soon as you wrote the last line, my mind went as follows:

"SDKFJSKHFKJSDFHSKFHH TONY YOU ARE TOO FUCKING CUTE!"

Honestly? He's just too perfect and precious. No sane person could ever stay mad at that.
Also, to be perfectly honest, I wasn't worried he was cheating. I mean, come on, he's your Tony. Over your dead body would he be written as a cheating asshole.
But this was adorable and perfect as always. I loved it. Great job <3

She was being a normal girl for thinking what she did. I don't blame her for thinking he was cheating. I'm happy that they are working on their relationship.

b) Tony's right, she should know better, but you don't think rationally first thing
c) once you made that assumption, it's hard to let it go immediately, especially if feelings like hurt anger disappointment etc. are attached to it

It was Saturday night and the Gophers were playing the North Dakota Fighting Sioux this weekend. - - OK Even I know nothing good can come of that!

Understanding was the most important quality a girlfriend could possess with an athlete. - - When I imagine Bri - she's just about the perfect gf for a hockey player.

The starting line up for North Dakota was announced. T.J. Oshie and Ryan Duncan highlighted the line, - Mmmmm that's all, just mmmmm

“How hot was it watching your man fight?” She asked sarcastically. She knew as well as I did that watching the boys fight was terrifying. - - No wait - how hot was it...Come on. Ok horrible. I know. not hot...right. Not hot.

“You beat the crap out of him.” Mario grinned at his older brother, slapping hands with him. Tony gave him a discreet smile that made me lock the corners of my mouth to keep from laughing. It was obvious that Tony was proud of his performance. - - Awww little brothers. Gotta love it.

“Sex or bust?”
“Yes.” He grinned at me. = = AMEN Tony!!!

“I know just the punishment.” I winked at him as he leaned down and kissed the breath from my lungs in just the way he was good at. - - That a girl Brianna. That's my girl.

I love how real Brianna is, how worried she is, how she was petrified, yet snickered at Mario's comments. She just feels so real - I wonder why. Great chapter. I'll be back from vacation on the 9th - new chapter by then?

YAY! I missed them so much! I saw Mario get drafted on TV and he gave a shout out to how Tony has always been a good brother to him in an interview...it made me miss your Tony story even more. I love how you write them in love :)
