This is different to most band father stories on here. I like it.
The way you described her situation made me feel very sorry for her and it felt realistic.
I wouldn't want to imagine such a thing happening to Gerard Way if Lyn-z passed away but I think such feelings and means of distractions are possible when thrown into the situation he was in.

I'm no a huge fan of Ashton's character, but that would mainly be because I am biased against angst-filled teenagers. However, I thought Dani's character was very sweet and...humble? No that's not that word. I don't know, but she seemed very real, not wanting to order anything off the menu whereas most women would have taken advantage.

Anyway, I do like the story and I may check up on it again from time to time.

The theme is somewhat common, but this is really well written.
Your characters are all so amazingly detailed and believable.
