I love that Aspen and Matt now have their own little system happening, without even really realizing it. Like. she has these dreams and Matt just expects her to come in, just like she expects him to have part of the bed waiting for her. And then in the morning he asks her what it was about, she shuts him down, and then they go about their business.

It's amazing that they haven't both fallen head over heels for each other. That's not to say that there aren't some feeling bubbling, because there definitely are (don't deny it), but being so close all the time and spending most nights together in the same bed usually brings people closer together.

I guess that's what happens when you're dealing with two tough cookies. Shit takes a long ass time.

^That's about the point where it hit me. He's using a lava lamp as a weapon/protection. Enough said right there, but it's adorable to imagine and pretty realistic considering I've literally gone after a scary sound that I insisted was a burglar with nothing to protect me but a hair brush and a spray bottle filled with water that I dyed purple.

She needs to tell him what's going on inside her head.And then they need to bone... a lot... for hours. Days even. MONTHS.

I almost cried that last update was so cute :,-)

I'm enjoying the emotional turmoil involved with this story.

I agree with the person who commented before me. Every time I see that this is updated, a jolt of excitement goes through me like you wouldn't believe. I absolutely love this story and where its heading. I don't comment much but for this story it's a must. I don't want to see it go until it's finished.

Matt's super adorable in this one. I don't know if it's because he still all shy and such, or obviously really really trying to make Aspen as comfortable as possible, even if it means begging his mom for grocery money, it's really something he wants to do.

She has no room to complain about Matt wanting her to get a job though. Even if it was his mom's idea it doesn't change the fact that he's poor as fuck and now is taking care of not only himself but another person. Part time won't kill her and they probably won't starve to death either if she's willing to work like 15 hours a week.

He wants her, I can tell.
And she wants him.

This is the first Matt Goof fan-fic I've ever read.
And let me tell you, I love it to bits.

I woke up and checked my email on my ipod, because I had a weird feeling that I should, and I was SO EXCITED when this was updated. And not even on a Sunday. It was like my birthday came a month early.
So thank you for that :)

And we finally have some Matt and Aspen lovin's. Sure, it can barely be considered lovin' - but it'll do for now. I'm happy she's at least away from jail and can actually have contact with him aside from just talking through her probation officer.

So the last time they even talked was when she kinda left him high and dry? So it's safe to assume that there's some feelings left over, and that's sorta his motivation to take her in?
Seriously, I don't just pick people up randomly in the middle of the night when they call out of the blue and let them stay with me if I don't really really like them.

It's like a twisted, perfect love story.

I adore this story! The way your writing it sounds mature and not just another "He fell in love with the girl at the rock show" type fanfiction. The characters are believable (and Nick sounds like a prick I used to date) and the plot is shaping up to be a mystery, I'm intrigued.
