Wow. This was really good. It captured a side of Remus that was never really shown, and Lily is also put into a light that makes it obvious of how she appears to everyone, not just James or Severus. Kudos! :)

Okay, first of all; I really dislike the pairing. I don't know why, I'm just.. ICK!
HAHA, but that doesn't reflect on your story, and I swear I won't judge it because of the pairing. x]

Let me start by saying that Remus is one of my favorite characters ever. He's... just wow. As a kid, all friendless and worthless, he was my best friend as pathetic as it sounds. So I know him. And I haven't been able to find many stories that capture him.

I think it's good that you didn't write a present time Remus, because I don't believe I would've liked it much, due to me having this image of Remus after having befriended him. But you did a great job with the young Remus.

Though I don't like the pairing, I can picture it perfectly. It's so him, putting his friend over his own feelings. So you did a great job on that. Your sentence structure was also good, and I love that you actually had good grammar. The flow was very nice, and the name suited the story. The banner could have been a bit... more, but other than that it was good.

Also, Remus is my favorite character. So I loved the whole thing, since it centered arounf him and Lilly.

This was seriously cute. Like just... seriously cute. I adored it. I loved the inner battle of go for the girl you like or go with the best friend you've had since ever. It was really good and I could really picture Remus doing this and panicking like that.
