This was great! The story really pulled me in, and I wanted to know more. You explained everything really well, and I absolutely loved how you added the lyrics nonchalantly into the story, it was really impressive. I for one find that difficult to do, and that was definitely something I enjoyed. Another one of my favorite parts is that you worked around the picture really, really well!
The only thing I'm the teeniest bit confused on is Monica's reaction to everything. At first, I felt like you were saying Monica didn't like Derek, but she didn't leave him because she was scared. And then later it sounded like she didn't leave him because she didn't believe what Miranda was saying. Perhaps I'm just oblivious, but that was about the only thing that I really had a problem grasping. Not even that, it was just a bit confusing, but somehow it didn't seem . . . Confusing. Well, that just doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
Either way, this a wonderful, wonderful story. And you certainly did a good job with the murder. :] I really enjoyed it, honestly. Well done!
