Okay, so I've been going through the contest entries, blah blah blah. And I had nothing to do today, so I decided I'd read a few.
The last story I read I nearly headdesked because I was like, "My gosh. I'm heartless. I haven't teared up at any of these."
Thank you for proving me wrong because when I finished this I was finally crying. So, I'm not heartless. >.<"
I liked that this was a one shot, and how you could get to the point easily and in such a short story, barely knowing the characters, cause tearing-up. I thought it was pretty perfect for this contest because it did just what I was asking for!
I also just saw the Notebook and this reminds me of it greatly. I think it's pretty awesome that you can pull off the same feeling in one chapter that it took about two hours to reduce my friends and I to tears. If you kept going with this, then you could definitely have people staining their keyboards with tears.
Judging has begun! I liked the mixing of business and pleasure. A little more background on the character would have been pleasant. The time jump was too much for the one-shot. The feeling got stronger in the middle of the piece.
OMG. I'M LITERALLY IN TEARS. that was sooo sad&&cute!!! ah! i loveddddd it!!!! i love how you didn't stop at the happy ending and you kept on going til they were older(: amazing job!!!
I really liked it.
