A story based around a sofa is just incredible.
I loved the layout.

The tension between the two was palpable, it was great.

I liked how you took something as simple as a sofa and based a story around it. I think the details you didn't give make this story. We know nothing about these people or where the tension came from, so it creates mystery, and it ends with mystery again when she goes back to fidgeting.
