Oooo, this is good! She should bring Millie along, see what happens. I'm sorry, but Darien seems like an utter fake to me. Not that he doesn't seem like a real character, but like he doesn't really... I don't know, want to do this or is just trying to find a bride, not really caring about anything else. Demetri on the other hand... seems more perfect. I like how you gave Ellie an accent, by the way. Love to see the next chapters soon!

Yay! Another chapter! I loved it! Disregard the earlier comment... both boys seem like turds! Why did she throw off both shoes? Doesn't the story say she only threw off one...? I'm guessing that one of the fishy sisters are one of her happy endings!

I absolutely adore reading new interpretations of fairy tales and legends (there's an intriguing remake of Beauty and the Beast called Beastly that's coming out in 2011 that I cannot wait for), and the description of your story made me want to subscribe regardless of whether or not you sucked like a kindergarten writer or rocked like Edgar Allen Poe. Lucky for me I enjoy your writing style and I had a blast reading chapter one.
Please, please, please continue writing, at your own pace of course, but I am enthusiastically waiting for more.
