AW! AINSLEY AND MIKES ARE TOGETHER! =D How cute!
I'm with Frankie ice sculptures are cool. No pun intended. xD
Thank you for writing such a sweet story, with an optimistic ending. I needed to hear it tonight. ^_^
*virtual hug*
I loved this story.
So, I’ll start by commenting on the story as a whole, seeing as I don’t think I’ve commented on each chapter (-slaps self- :XD). The way in which Frank’s attitude to Gerard changed; I liked that it was a gradual thing. It wasn’t “OMG I HATE HIM” and then suddenly after they slept together “OMG I LUFF HIM.” He was conflicted, which was realistic. I mean, who wouldn’t be conflicted in a situation like that? He was in love with his boss who was married. Point made. :file:
And when they were parted, it showed how it was eating away at Frank, because he really did have feelings for Gerard. Also, how Gerard is portrayed was well done. He isn’t a cliché heartless bastard; he has emotions and has to deal with the difficult situation of being in a loveless marriageto an uber bitch :shifty But yeah, I wasn’t at all upset when Sophia was out of the picture. :file:
The part where Frank redressed Gerard into more casual and personal style for the funeral was nice. It helped to emphasise that Gerard wasn’t just THE BOSS and that was all; it helped to show that he was just a regular person.
I find it interesting that in one (or is it two?) of the sex scenes, Frank’s the one on top. Usually Gerard’s the one on top cause he’s taller, but I admit, the thought of Frank on top is hot. :tehe: And I liked how these more rapid and spur of the moment sex scenes contrast with the last one.
:cheese:
That was the perfect ending. I love how realistic it was; not consistently serious, not consistently lovey-dovey. It had a good balance between random funny moments that happen in everyday life and also the serious side of Frank and Gerard trying to work out where they stood with their relationship. And I wasn’t sure what kind of ending you were going to write for this story, but I’m happy it ended this way. It really conveys a loving relationship. Despite their trials in the past, they overcame it to be at this point, and a few months from being married. (SQUEE!) :shifty
I love how preoccupied Gerard was with the thought that Frank used to hate him. :tehe: That was so sweet. I mean, Frank keeps talking and all Gerard can ask is “You hated me?” :lmfao
One thing that really stood out to me; the sex wasn’t pornographic. It wasn’t promoted as hot or sexy or anything. Frank didn’t go into immaculate detail with it, and it came across as very loving, simple and yet so eloquently worded.
I loved the ending; yeah, it was fairytale-esque, but still believable and oh-so cute. And Mikey and Ainsley are together! That means they’re all somehow related.
I loved it, Kor. It was a perfect, perfect ending. :arms:
