I liked this story a lot, the story line is inviting, and you keep reading because you want to know what really is the truth. I would actually love to see a continuation of this, but I think you could maybe work on helping your sentences flow into one another just a little bit more. I didn't find this rolling on the floor laughing, but I did smile a bit.
