Always with the cliffhangers!
I'm not quite sure, but I think your writing style has this sense of "now" where everything is happening in this moment, and you don't detract from that with too much detail or useless dialogue. At the end of the last two chapters there has been a sense of anxiety! What is going on next? This is definitely a dynamic point in the story, but my oh my I'm definitely buying into what you're writing. I hope you are able to update soon, although I'll eagerly read whenever you get around to posting. Nice work :)
