    That was really sad. D;
But still rather amazing. I loved how you used your words, even if it made me feel awful for Calico. (unique name, by the way c: I like it)
Anyways, great job and good luck in the contest. (:

I liked this as well (:
I've never read a two-shot that was this good. In all honesty, I rarely read any one-shots/two-shots/that was this good, haha xD I loved the chain of events as well. Oh, and how you added Fisher in there. He sounds like a cutie.
    This was great <3

I enjoyed reading this, even if it was terribly sad.

It was very well written. The emotions she was feeling seemed very realistic and detailled.
And I do like the chain of events you described.

    Good Job. (:

    I really liked this.
I think it's great just as the two-shot; you don't need to lengthen it.
The emotions were so very palpable (is that the right word?) and strong.
I like the originality of the names, as well :)
    Fabulous.

My little brother is a few years younger than me and I couldn't imagine how I'd feel if I lost him.

I don't understand why this doesn't have more than two comments, this was beautiful.
You could feel Calico's emotions and how she felt about losing her brother. I also imagined a lot in my head whilst reading this.

    Good job. I loved this.

I'm shocked this has no comments. I like it.

I love my brother will all my heart. This story just made me think about what I would do if I lost him. Ugh, I would hate it.

And when you said that it's sad when what you love the most kills you, I thought of Steve Erwin. It's messed up that he died doing what he loved.

ANYWHO, this was nice. Not many people do well with angst, or scenes as such as this one. But you nailed it. I literally felt like I was looking through her eyes and having flashbacks of my own life. The grief wasn't overdone to a point where it was unbelievable. It was executed realisticly. Even I am not good in that apartment.

    Loved it
