Let me just say that I don't really ever come across stories that aren't top-notch in appearance, but draw me in nonetheless. I can probably name one story that's kept me hooked despite its grammatical errors and whatnot. This story is one of those.
I've been checking back on this story for the past few chapters to see how it's going along, and you've been improving your writing. That's got me excited and it's also got me caving in to sub'ing.
Keep writing this story. The plot is different from the norm of JCOV stories, and I like that about it. It's also going slow, which is what I really look for in a story. I'm not one for hook-ups and drama in the relationship; I like to see it form and mold into something. That's what a story is to me: the chase. That's probably why I don't dig sequels as much either.
But I digress. Just keep up what you're doing, and enjoy it too. Don't ever feel like you NEED to write, 'cause that's not what writing is about. Have fun, do what you want with it, and just open a vein and write.
