Honeymoon in Bikini Bottom - Comments

I've never seen a SpongeBob fan fiction before and I wasn't really sure what to expect, but this story is funny, cute and unique. Your portrayal of the characters from the show is pretty much perfect which made it very easy to read along in their voices. David kind of gets on my nerves, he seems like the jealous type, I mean she was only laughing at something that amused her, that’s hardly flirting. Also the part where Patrick answers the phone at the Krusty Krab made me laugh, I love that episode.

This story is well written but I did notice a couple of errors:

“a crap came bursting out of a door to the right.”

“I tried to jerking my head around”

I’m already subscribed and I’m definitely going to continue reading, I’m curious to see where this story is going to go, I have a feeling it’s going to be pretty interesting

This is too cute! I 've never read a fan fiction for Spongebob before. Actually, I don't think I've ever seen one until now

This makes me so happy because it's so cute and I know about lots of the references. Plus the voices in my head when reading the dialogue match the voices of the characters! I can see all of Bikini Bottom when reading this. Everything is animated except for David and Dani. I picture them like that hand that sometimes appears in the show.

David seems to be getting angry over nothing. It's a damn sponge. C'mon! What could he possibly do to your wife?

I really do love this. I'll be subscribing for more!

Haha! This is without doubt, absolute genius! I don’t think I’ve ever read a fan fic as interesting, funny, cute and adorable as this one. You’ve got some great talent here girlie!
Honestly, I’m so happy someone is doing this, because I’ve been a huge spongebob fan for quite some time.
Therefore, starting with the layout, its so cute. Plus, it makes the atmosphere so sponge-boby haha And your writing style is one of a kind, stimulating and gripping. I especially liked how this began, with David being scared stiff haha And Sandy is just so sweet. Love you for writing this. Definitely recommending and subscribing!
A small thing I might mention here, though. Its in the second chapter – this line ” Before I could scold the squid for his unnecessary rude behavior, a crap came bursting out of a door to the right.” I think it should be ’crab’ instead of ’crap’. But that’d be all. Nicely done. Keep it up! (:

I don't think I have read anything like this before. I used to watch Sponge Bob a lot but I stopped doing so. This is actually quite amazing. I think it is unique and and kinda cute. I like David. I loved it when he was the one all scared and nervous to scuba dive. I like a story where the woman is the somewhat strong character and this is just a great start. I laughed so hard at the part where Dani called The Krusty Krab and Patrick answered the phone and after stating his name he just hung up. That's just him. You have described and portrayed the characters of the show very well and it makes it easier to get into the story more.

Was David really jealous? Who does that? He is a sponge! That was very funny and entertaining to read. I feel for the guy though. It must be frustrated to go through what they are going, even though Dani sees it as an incredible and unforgettable adventure.

Your writing style is great. The words that you use for describing everything are very much vivid and makes me visualize what I am reading which is fabulous. Great job so far and can't wait to see what happens next.

Aww, I get scared flying too so I know how Dani feels! Haha I like how she got scared of the flying and David got scared of the scuba diving. I think it's cute how they sort of compliment each other in that respect, and their little banter back and forth is funny too, with the way that Dani pokes fun at David.

I really like how David and Dani weren't completely shocked about Bikini Bottom. It made the whole thing seem like it was normal for them, which was a nice transition in the story. At first I expected that there would be some sort of experiment gone wrong that would trap them there, but I really like the direction that you went with much more.

I think you did an absolutely amazing job writing Sandy, especially with her accent. She is exactly like I remember her in the show right down to the southern drawl. I love it.

I can tell that there is going to be a lot in store for this story and tons of possibilities with what can happen considering all the crazy and cooky characters that Bikini Bottom has! I can't wait for Spongebob to get there so they can all get in some crazy shenanigans!

I've never read a Spongebob fanfic before so that was definitely something. xD

Overall, I think your writing style is good- it's simple but not in a way that's condescending to the reader, and even though I'm not hugely familiar with the show (only seen the movie and a few episodes) I could imagine what it was like from the way you described it.

I did think David's jealousy seemed a bit out of the blue, maybe it'd help if you included hints at his personality in earlier chapters? And I noticed a few typos in the last chapter, and you have a bit of broken BBcode (the italics). That's the only critique I have really.

I can honestly say that this is the first Spongebob fan-fic I've ever read.
When I first saw this, I was like, what the hell, and I was all expecting the worst, but this, quite frankly, rules.
I love the fact that she has a crush on a sponge.
I'm definitely subscribing.

Okay, so, the second I read chapter 3, I was fangirling. Sandy is such a sweetie xD Then chapter 4~ I died when Spongey came in. You brought out his personality perfectly here.
