We Change, We Wait - Comments

Okay, I've read everything that was left in my email (four updates, to be exact) on this lazy Sunday. I feel over-cutsified, and I am very over the moon that they are back together. And yes, it did leave me entertained, so don't fret over that. The ending was just enough cheese for me to be pleased, and I can't believe that you're gonna leave.
Momentarily, that is. I just had to finish that rhyme scheme...

Reading the ending was bittersweet.
I'm ecstatic that Jude and John are back together, but at the same time, I'm sad that there aren't going to be anymore chapters.

This story and its prequel were beautifully written, and I can't wait to read more from you.

I leave for a day to catch up on my homework and I come back to find 2 chapters?
This was quite a lovely surprise.

Although John still hasn't apologized and Jude is still broken, I'm happy with the progress that's been made. Yet again, Pat has proven to be an amazing friend, and Jude has realized that she needs to find strength inside herself rather than in other people.

I LOVE PAT, OKAY? IT'S KINDA OBVIOUS FROM EVERYTHING I'VE SAID, BUT HE'S A SWEETHEART. Sheesh. Right about now, this fictional version of the kid is my hero. Just gotta say, though, I'd totally back up Pat putting the moves on Jude. And her reciprocating. And them falling in love. Wait, did I just hear wedding bells...?
Anyway, very besides the point. This is why I love third person. You can just drift off and show another side of the story, like after Jude fell asleep. Of course, most of this story's in third limited, but I just love it. Loooove it.

finally! ive been waiting for John to fuck up the relationship, i know that sounds harsh but like seriously it was to perfect and happy in 'To be Loved,To Be Loved' that i was like "COME OOOOOOOOON!!! CHEAT ON HER ALREADY!!!!!!" throughout the whole story (: but this is realllllllly good my first O'Callaghan and I LOVE IT!!! can wait till you update more (:

This whole situation brings to mind what happened in the last story when they went shopping around Thanksgiving (I believe that's when it was), and a fangirl stole his lips for a couple seconds. Remember how she was all ~cool about it after? How he said he tried to push her away and she understood? I knew something like that was going to happen again then, just in worse circumstances, and now, here we are, who knows how many chapters, words, or months later, and John's all done gone being a complete prick just like I thought he would be.
Here I am hating on John when I should be loving on you. Brah, you're aweeeesome at writing. Don't give it up.

This time around, he won't be able to talk himself out of trouble.

Oh my.
I don't want to assume the worst, because the scenario at the end of the chapter could have been something really good (a surprise with a dozen beautiful roses) or quite terribly (John doing something inappropriate with a girl other than Jude). Whichever way this plays out, I'm eager to read what you have in store.

I hope he doesn't cheat on her, but it's kinda obvious that might just happen in the next chapter or some time in the story at the least. Or he's gonna get caught ~almost cheating on her. Mid-kiss. Something petty on the cheating scale (is there such a thing?).
Can I please just reiterate once again? Just for future reference for when I can say 'I told you so.'
