As a huge X Japan fan, this had my feelings all over the damn place.

I truly think Hide would be happy with the fact that they continued on. You watch some of the newer performance videos, and listen to a newer song, and it just feels like he's right their with them.

I love really love this. :)

I can understand why it would be so hard fort Toshi to perform without hide. It would be difficult. I've recently gotten into X-Japan at the beginning of 2010 and the first song I heard was "Crucify My Love" and I fell in love. Once again, another one I enjoyed.

The story was really well written, not many errors that I could see. I liked how the story had a sad undertone but also a tone of true friendship. The emotions you had in the story seemed pretty realistic. The story was a good read, I liked it. I've heard a lot about X-Japan, and this story kind of made me want to actually check out their music. (:

I've never once heard of this band.
Which is pretty much the reason I don't read a lot of bandfics - I have no interest in reading about a band I know nothing about.
So - while I wouldn't go out looking for this story and honestly, if it weren't for the comment swap I probably would never have read this - I did like the story and I liked the way you wrote it.

Your story had emotion, it was raw and real and made for an amazing read.
You could really feel the longing of missing a friend.
I think that you did an amazing job with this.

I keep forgetting to mention this, but thank you for stepping outside of the box and bringing J-Rock to Mibba, I thoroughly appreciate it =D
And I'm also glad that you write so well, since there are so few fan-fics out there like this, it's really good to know that they are written well :)

I loved the way you kept throwing in little things that built Toshi's character; like the way he would constantly compare the United States with Japan.
This line, "What's the difference? I wanted to scream." was so powerful to me, it just made me fully aware of how much inner turmoil Toshi was feeling.
And this line, "It felt like I've known Yoshiki my whole life. And people wonder why I left the band.", I really love the insight that it gives the reader into Toshi's character.

I like how consistent everything is in this story, it's not choppy and it never feels rushed. It's just very beautiful and, I know this is going to sound strange, but it feels almost surreal, the way you write.
    Very well done :)
    I loved the whole thing!

I have no clue who this is about, but the characters were crafted so well. Their habits, doings, emotions, thoughts, very well compiled into occasional sentenses.

One thing I have to say is that I'd prefer some intense descriptions. Nothing too large, but something that really sounds beautiful. Your writing style is pretty damn good, mind :)

Stories like this usually aren't my thing at all, but I really enjoyed this. You have a lovely style of writing and the whole thing was played out perfectly. Even though I don't know the band, I still felt such sadness for them in losing a bandmember, and I understood the reluctance to reform perfectly. The ending was beautiful, I loved the image of Hide standing there watching. It was so sad, but bittersweet too. Well done =]

    This is incredible.

I have never heard of this band, but the obvious love for them and the emotion in this really spoke to me.
It gives the reader a look on the inside, how it would feel to loose a fellow band member.
I love how you wrote this, it's really good. <3

Even though I don't have a frikkin clue who this was about, I could actually understand what the person was feeling (I'm bad with names, I have no clue how to spell these ones). The emotion of how he didn't want to sing because it wouldn't be the same without..Hide (?) was portrayed the strongest, and it was something that I could see being very realistic. This was pretty darn realistic to read, I could just imagine it happening then and there.
This was actually quite good. xD

You portrayed the emotions very well, and how you wrote it showed a lot about the characters and their dynamics. Realistic and flowing, I like it. =)

This is pretty amazing. I could feel the pain that the narrator was going and it seemed that he was really messed up with what happened over Hide. This is great! :) Perfect description and everything flowed neatly. Great job!
