Your characters are so freggin well written. Theyre really phenomenal.

"Sh...quiet. I'm trying to kill you! I'll hit a vein eventually." I insisted. He simply stared at me. I burst out laughing, dropping my spork. Pretty soon, the entire table was laughing with me.
That line had me laughing my butt off. I could see one of my best friends doing that xD

Jimmy came a little over a month ago. Brian came as soon as he found out Jimmy was here. They're best friends." Jimmy, who was suddenly all-smiles, wrapped an arm around his friend. Brian chuckled, but an orderly cleared his throat. Jimmy rolled his eyes, letting his arm fall back.
It almost sounded like they were just in a new town. 'Oh, what brings you to Huntington Beach?' until the orderly was all annoyed about a gesture of friendship. Stupid no touching policies in those stupid facilities.

My issue with that place is how they believe The Lion King is a good movie choice just because it was Disney. Based off of Hamlet in a way, Simba thinks he's responsible for murdering his father and rather than face the consequences, he runs away. He's tracked down later by a childhood friend and they may as well gets it on. -points out Mufasa was the only male lion until Simba so Simba and Nala are related in a way- then they return and find out it was actually dear old Uncle Scar who killed his brother and wanted to get it on with the mom. Lion King is one of the most fucked up Disney movies ever. And they think its innocent. Pfft!

I think Johnny should try to kiss Ashley. I think it'd change it up a bit if he already "fancies" her. Just an idea, you don't have to use it.

I'm so happy to see that you guys have updated. I hope real life hasn't been so hectic for the both of you these past few months.

I really did enjoy these updates, but (being the stickler I am) I do have to make just a few corrections. One involves the group therapy scenes which do have some things wrong with them. for one part, the therapy sessions, at least as they appear, are not nearly long enough. Group therapy sessions tend to last for about an hour, not the few minutes that they appear to be in the story. Also, they are done under constant supervision by authority, meaning no "split into groups" moments. Also, everything said has to be said by the patient voluntary, meaning (even under the crappy conditions of this mental institution) Nolan would not be able to say "Hey, this patient is Ashley, she tried to kill herself." This completely breaks patient confidently that has to be present under law. Ashley would need to admit to the group what was wrong with her out of her own will.

However, you did nail how institutionalized people cheat out on taking their meds. Props there!

Okay, that's my correction stickler moment. Sorry if I ranted.

Now, I do love how the characters are beginning to interact with one another, whether it be in a positive or negative way. They seem to be budding as characters as a whole, and although Harlow's quick to explode and Ashley's quick to judge attitude are annoying to me I do see them as starting points for the girls to grow, trust, and mature and for the other characters to either follow in their path of healing or fall into a hole of mindless retaliation.

I can't wait for the conflict to arise and the rising action that will follow! Keep it coming girls!
