I really liked the layout, so that is a bonus. I like how you have the words that would end in -ing end in -in' like "leavin'". I can really hear the accent in my mind. All the dialogue and description made it seem so real. I felt like I was there, watching her and her mother talk and everything.
There was only one mistake ; ♣"We've talked about this, Jo. It's something I've got to do and there is no where I can run to get away. I promise that I'll be back when this is over and I wont have to go away ever again. You left off the closing quote, not a big deal.
I loved the ending too. The details about the "last kiss" and the letters. The point of stopping with the dresses and colours for the wedding was cute, too. It's the perfect point to write a sequal.(;
