I am so glad this is finally posted! You could update this story five times a day, every day and I'd never get sick of it. Nor would I get sick of Ben either. (Somewhere in Atlanta, he's feeling pretty fucking good.) I loved this first, introduction chapter, and like every time I read something you write me, I had a huge fucking smile on my face the whole time.

I love that me and Jonny are BFFS and he openly admits to it; I find it so cute that Captain Serious is able to be goofy with me, even though he's oh, so serious in his head and I can't hear!

She was constantly on call, Jon always calling her for something, but as the years passed it became more of just needing to see her face and hear her laugh than needing her to do something for him. Oh my goodness. Jonny just likes being with me, and I obviously love being with him. I love our relationship and how fucking easy it is!

Jon frowned just for a second, unsure if Alyssa could see him or not; if there was one thing that he hated more than anything, it was the fact that she was beautiful and men were always wanting to have a part in her life. He hated sharing, especially whenever it came to sharing a person, and after he had briefly introduced her to the guys on the team, he knew they'd all like her just as much as he did. - I pictured like a five year old Jonny refusing to share his toys. I picture adolescent Jonny refusing to share his bike. I picture teenage Jonny refusing to share his equipment. And then adult Jonny refusing to share me. Good god, sexy motherfucker.

"You look more Ted Bundy every time I see you, Patrick Kane," Alyssa smiled, pinching his cheek. "I can't wait to see them lead you away in handcuffs... oh, wait. That already happened, didn't it?" No matter how many times you've already shared this with me, I still laugh. Serial killer reference for the win!

No matter how safe, or how protected, however, neither Jon nor Alyssa would expect what the night held for them, and how Patrick Kane would be responsible for shoving their friendship forward into an unknown, unchartered realm of uncertainty. Just. Oh god, what does Kaner fucking do?!

Of course I fucking loved this! I always love everything you write! Can't wait for more, baby boo! <3
