I really like the whole concept of mikey having to defeat all the different gerards. I can't wait for more :D

ZombieAttack!: What's happening is a sort of innner recession, Gerard is afraid of his feelings hurting Mikey, and he is afraid of Mikey's feelings hurting Mikey, so his way to cope with this is by holding his old mind hostage. He created within himself different representations of his different emotions, each his own self, each his own "Gerard." He still really is Gerard, but he is confused and afraid, so he wants to run, but also wants to see Mikey as himself again. It's really complicated, but it has to do with his mind not wanting to face Mikey and his heart wanting to be with him, that and the way he thinks means that it is easier for him to shove out a random other self to face Mikey than true Gerard, even though half of him wants to see his brother again. Does that make sense, sort of?

He is, literally and metaphorically, being held hostage by this beliefs, and they have manifested themselves into "different Gerards" as Mikey calls them.

I think the way Gerard told Mikey about the Vanessa thing is a bit unrealistic, but amazingly funny (and, actually, when it comes to these guys, probably realistic XD you know?)

I like the way you portray Mikey. I mean, he is 15, so the weird-o, kinda jerky, geek you’ve touched on, especially in this chapter, is accurate. But I also like to think that, especially with Gerard as an older brother, and growing up in Jersey, he acted older than he was sometimes, which you’ve definitely touched on. Bravo.

I love that Gerard carved in Mikey’s initials. Exquisite.
