If there was anything I expected out of this story, this was not one of them. Hold on, I'm still trying to find my words.
This was such a tragic story. I was a little confused at first, thinking that the boy was actually the main character's boyfriend, but now I see. That just makes it so much sadder. D: Lillian's death made me cringe, but I mean that as a compliment. That poor woman suffered so much, and when she finally ended that suffering (or gravity did, as it is), the shard of glass was like insult to injury.
