“Hello, my name is Sean Babcock and I am Audrey’s husband by common law. “ He began
It's not a period at the end. You should put a comma and the 'H' shouldn't be capitalized, Overall decent and good. But I'm not sure why dialogue was in kursive? It disrupted the flow a bit for me to be honest. Otherwise good. :)
The title It's cool. Not amazing. If I just stumbled by this on the stories main page, I probably wouldn't read it, though.
The layout Blaand. It isn't anything special, really, but it isn't the worst, I suppose. At least I can read the text.
The description Love is stronger than death even though it can't stop death from happening, but no matter how hard death tries it can't separate people from love. That doesn't flow well, to me. I feel like there should be a period after happening.
Chapter one The Ripples happily traveling along the lakes edge. The cloudless sky was mimicking the blue of the water. The Ripples really shouldn't be capitalized. “Would anyone like to say a few words?” I have no idea why he's speaking in italics.
A bird or two could be heard in the distance chirping sweetly to the morning air. That line stood out to me; god only knows why. The fact that he ran to alcohol after she died upset me. I was like, NO. It was sad. The imagery was excellent, though. <3 No- it was worse than sad. That could send me spiraling into depression. O.o
D'aww, this is touching. I loved the relationship between Sean and his mother, and how he pushed her away in his darkest of times. I thought that was pretty original, expecially since she seemed to be completely oblivious to his seething.
He held back the urge to push her arms away and scream to the high heavens for her to not touch him. Oh, how I've felt like this so many times before...
He hated the way she was always there for him. That was a good line, too. :]
Oh, and there are a few, slight grammatical errors, here and there. A quick revising wouldn't hurt. All in all, glorious work.
Aweh. D: This made me tear up. You have a way words and I'm not just saying that. I really love that quote. "Death ends a life not a relationship." That little speech he made at the end made me tear up even more. I couldn't find any errors. I was too caught up in the story. Great writing. <3
